Bellara's Nutterbar

Yum!

Yum! Bellara's Nutterbar I believe I was first introduced to these peanut buttery deliciousness during Childre's Week. Now you can purchase them from Lisa McKeever in Stormwind. She is behind the cooking daily quest guy, standing next to a cart.

4 cups (360g)  quick cooking oatmeal
1 cup (180gbrown sugar
1/4 cup (60 ml) light corn syrup
2/3 cup (160g) butter, melted
1/4 cup (30g) peanut butter
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla

Combine all ingredients, Mixture will be moist. Press into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 400 degrees F (204 degrees C) for 15 minutes.

You will see the edges start to bubble. Take out of the oven and let cool for 30 minutes.

I cut the cookies into bars to resemble candy bars. The finished product is pliable so don't be concerned if it crumbles or falls apart. You can just mush it back together.

Topping:
9oz. (265 ml) chocolate chips
2/3 cup (160 ml) peanut butter

Melt together in the microwave 40 seconds at 10 second intervals.
Pour over Bars and smooth with a knife.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
